HIP HIP HOORAY-
Congratulations to our 30th Annual Scholarship recipients!
Supporting our communities is what Cambridge Savings Bank is all about.
Each spring, the Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation awards educational scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the public high schools in Acton-Boxborough, Arlington, Bedford, Belmont, Burlington, Cambridge, Charlestown, Concord-Carlisle, Lexington, Newton, Somerville and Watertown, including Minuteman Regional High School and Shawsheen Valley Technical High School.
The scholarships are named in honor of retired CEOs, Kevin J. Fitzgerald & Robert M. Wilson. Mr. Fitzgerald began working for the Bank while in college through a cooperative education program and started his full-time banking career upon graduation. The scholarships in Mr. Fitzgerald’s name are for secondary education in all areas of study. Mr. Wilson joined Cambridge Savings Bank in 1995 and moved into the CEO position in 2006. The scholarship in Mr. Wilson's name is for graduating high school seniors moving on to secondary education with a focus on music.
We are so glad to be able to give back to the community in this meaningful way by supporting these young students as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. Since the program's inception, Cambridge Savings Bank has awarded $1.4 million in scholarships.
We want to congratulate our recipients for their exceptional work - we wish you all the best for a bright future!
