After graduating from Trinity College and Stanford Law School, Steve was a partner at several law firms in Boston, where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, regulatory compliance issues, supervisory enforcement actions and general business planning and negotiations. During his career in private practice, Steve was a frequent commentator on the Massachusetts and New England banking industry, appearing in American Banker, Banker & Tradesman, The Boston Globe, and The Boston Business Journal.

Steve joined us in 2011 as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. While in private practice, he was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers and New England Super Lawyers, and since joining CSB has been recognized as an In-House Leader in the Law by Lawyers Weekly and New England In-House.
