Aidan Hume
Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial Real Estate
Aidan believes that the real difference between banks is in how they deliver their services. He promotes a client-centric approach, encouraging his team to listen carefully, understand their clients' needs, and focus on what truly matters to them before creating personalized proposals. Recognizing that banking is fundamentally about relationships, Aiden has successfully guided numerous clients through various economic cycles over the past three decades.
Aidan honed his credit skills through the credit training program while at the former Fleet Bank (now Bank of America) and brings over 25 years of experience in all phases of lending. He is actively involved in local real estate trade associations, the Builders of Color Coalition, and serves as a director of Children in Crossfire (USA). Aidan earned his MBA from Boston College and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. He also has a bachelor’s degree in modern languages and is proficient in both French and German, though he admits his fluency has become a bit rusty over the years.
Originally from Ireland, Aidan now resides in Marshfield with his wife and five children. Despite a significant investment of time, he has yet to master the basics of golf, though his children have not given up on teaching him. In his spare time, Aidan loves traveling with his family and is an enthusiastic cyclist.
