This financial services veteran has spent over 45 years in the banking industry. Mike’s interests and specialties include strategic planning, capital management, balance sheet strategies, risk and investment management, and commercial real estate lending.
After earning his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Bentley University and completing the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking program, Mike began his career with stints at Bay State Bancorp, Cambridgeport Bank, and Walden Bancorp.
Before joining Cambridge Savings Bank in 2013, Mike served as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating/Chief Financial Officer at Fidelity Cooperative Bank and Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Operating/Chief Financial Officer at Beverly National Corporation and Beverly National Bank. He also worked as a consultant for financial institutions and corporations, with a focus on capital restructuring and balance sheet management, tax planning strategies and Sarbanes Oxley implementation.
This Acton, MA resident is past President of the Financial Managers Society, a former member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston Advisory Committee and has served on various committees with the Massachusetts Bankers Association. Mike now serves as Director of the Bay State Federal Savings Charitable Foundation as well as on the Advisory Board of Community Servings.
